About Nooma
Nooma is a baby tracker for the early years — sleep, nursing and bottles, growth, health and milestones — built for how those years actually feel.
Nooma learns your own baby’s rhythm and tells you what’s likely next: when they’ll be ready to sleep, which side you nursed last, whether today was unusual or just a Tuesday. In plain words, always.
Why Nooma exists
The hard moments of parenting don’t keep a schedule. The question that stops you mid-morning is as real as the one in the small hours: Is this enough milk. Is this a growth spurt. Was that nap too long. Nooma answers from the baby in front of you — their own day, their own rhythm, their own numbers. And when a question belongs to your pediatrician, it says so.
We know how hard these years are. So we built the app we wished we’d had — one that tells you when your baby is ready to sleep, plans the day’s bottles, and takes the mental math off you. Quick to use one-handed, and everything you log stays yours alone.
All of it is aimed at one kind of trust: the kind where you glance at your phone — in a waiting room, mid-feed, one hand on the stroller — believe what it tells you, and carry on with your day.
What we believe
In and out in seconds.
Open Nooma at a rough moment and you get the fact you need, in words you’d use yourself — then back to your baby.
Every number has a source.
Everything Nooma shows you comes from the days you logged — totals it counted, and a sleep window read from your baby’s own rhythm. When it hasn’t seen enough to say, it says “still learning” — and waits.
Your baby is not our product.
Your baby’s log stays on your phone and in your own iCloud — the same place your photos live. Nothing about your baby is ours to lose, leak, or sell.
What’s typical, and when to call.
Nooma tells you what’s typical at your baby’s age, and when something is worth a phone call. The judgment belongs to your pediatrician. Nooma builds the report, so the visit starts from what actually happened.
The library
Alongside the app there’s a free library on baby sleep, feeding, development and the newborn weeks — the things you end up searching in the dark, answered properly and without the panic. It follows the guidance pediatricians actually use, and it’s free to read with no sign-up and no paywall. Browse all 32 guides.
Where your baby’s information lives
On your phone, and in your own iCloud — the same place your photos live. Using Nooma needs no account at all, and there is no database of ours with your baby’s name in it. Sharing a child with your partner is the one thing that asks you to sign in, and it uses Sign in with Apple — so there is still no password, and we never see your real email address. The details, in plain language.

A note on medical advice
Nooma is not a medical device, and neither the app nor the library replaces your pediatrician. We work hard to be accurate, and just as hard not to overstep: the people who can see and examine your child are the ones to make decisions about them.
Questions we get asked
How does Nooma make money?
From subscriptions, never from your family’s information. The everyday essentials are free, and Nooma Pro and Nooma Pro+ AI are the optional paid tiers. There are no ads, no trackers, and nothing about you or your baby is ever sold or shared.
Do I have to log everything for it to be useful?
No. Nooma is built to be helpful on a partial day, because a partial day is what real life produces. Log what you catch, skip what you don’t, and it works with what it has. When there isn’t enough to be sure of something, it says “still learning” and waits for more.
Can my partner use it too?
Yes, and it costs nothing. You share a child by scanning one code, and from then on you are both looking at the same day from your own phones — up to three people, so a grandparent or a sitter can be in it too. If you would rather keep it to yourself, that works exactly as well.
Does it work if I’m breastfeeding, pumping, bottle-feeding, or all three?
All three, often in the same week. Nooma times each side separately, remembers which one you finished on, tracks pumped and bottle amounts — and keeps the day’s total honest however you feed.
Is Nooma a medical device?
No. Nooma helps you notice things and keep track of them — and it hands you a clear record for the person who makes the medical calls: your pediatrician.
If I join the waitlist, what happens to my email?
We use it to tell you when Nooma launches, and nothing else. No newsletter you didn’t ask for, and we never share it.
