The agreement

Terms of Use

Effective August 1, 2026. These terms cover the Nooma iOS app and noomababy.com. Using either means you agree to them.

Nooma is not medical advice

Nooma is an information and record-keeping tool for parents. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and nothing it shows — including AI answers, schedules, predictions, percentiles, and articles — is medical advice or a substitute for the judgment of your pediatrician or another qualified clinician. Decisions about your child's health belong with you and your child's doctor. If you think your child may be having an emergency, call your local emergency number right away — do not use this app.

Who can use Nooma

Nooma is for adults — parents and the caregivers they invite. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you log and for whom you invite into your household.

Your content

Everything you record belongs to you. You give us only the limited permission needed to operate the features you use — for example, to relay a shared child's records to the caregivers you invited, or to process a question you ask the AI. We claim no other rights over your family's information, and our Privacy Policy governs how it is handled.

Subscriptions

Fair use

Don't misuse Nooma: no unlawful use, no attempting to break, probe, or overload the app or our services, no scraping or reselling the service, and no using the AI to generate content that harms others. AI features carry fair-use limits so they stay fast and affordable for every family; the app shows you where those limits are.

The service, honestly stated

Nooma is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to make it dependable, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that predictions will fit your baby, or that AI answers are complete or correct — always weigh them against your own judgment and your clinician's. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Household sharing

Inviting someone gives them access to the shared child's records as described in the app. Invite only people you trust; you can remove a member — and they can leave — at any time. The household owner controls membership.

Ending things

You can stop using Nooma at any time; deleting your data and any sharing account is in Settings. We may suspend or end service for use that breaks these terms or harms other users, and we'll be reasonable about it.

Changes and contact

If these terms change materially, the app or this page will say so before the change applies. These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United States and, where state law applies, the state in which you reside. Questions: support@noomababy.com.
