Development
Every baby grows at their own pace. Gentle, milestone-by-milestone guides to what tends to happen when — meant for noticing, never for worrying.
Milestones are for noticing, not for scoring. These guides walk the first two years in three stretches — 1 to 6 months, 7 to 12 months, and 13 to 24 months — describing what tends to show up when, and how wide the ordinary range around each one really is.
They follow the CDC’s milestone framework, which describes what most children do by a given age rather than what every child should. If something here doesn’t match your child, that is a conversation to open with your pediatrician, not a verdict.
